About Newlife MIM
Guangzhou Newlife New Material Co., Ltd. MIM Project Team was established in 2003, mainly engaged in R&D and production of tungsten alloy MIM and PM. Nowadays, Newlife has MIM and PM processing and production lines of tungsten alloy, stainless steel, iron base alloy, copper alloy, soft magnetic material and non-magnetic steel, with more than 20 sintering furnaces.

Can you make this material?
Iron-base, stainless steel, soft magnetic and copper alloys are all feasible; zinc and aluminum alloys cannot be made with MIM.
What density can you reach?
Relative density above 98%: iron-base 7.5–7.7 g/cm³, stainless steel 7.6–7.8 g/cm³, pure copper above 8.4 g/cm³.
What tolerances can you hold?
Generally ±0.5% of the dimension; smaller dimensions can be controlled to ±0.3%.
What surface roughness is achievable?
As-sintered parts are typically Ra 1.0 µm; polishing can reach a mirror finish.
What hardness can you reach?
Hardness depends on the material; parts with specific hardness requirements generally need heat treatment.
How long is the lead time?
Tooling takes about 20 days and production about 7 days; secondary processing adds 3–5 days.
How much does tooling cost?
Typically RMB 20,000–40,000 (most around 30,000+), covering one injection mold and one sizing mold.
What is the minimum order quantity?
1,000 pieces or more.
